Pumpkin Mule

Cooking and baking are two of my favorite things, but creating craft cocktails (and drinking them!) is my absolute favorite! I love to mix different flavors in homemade syrups, add a bit to different top shelf liquors and often a little lemon juice, then shake and pour. Making the syrups ahead of time is a bit tedious, however, so I also appreciate good drinks that are easy, and this Pumpkin Mule recipe is just that! It’s a deliciously refreshing beverage that offers the right flavors for the season. Mix it in a copper mug and garnish with pumpkin spice and a cinnamon stick, and you have a drink that not only tastes great, but looks great too!

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Pie Spiced Ginger Brew
  • 1 ounce Bently Heritage Source One Vodka Rested in Sherry Oak Casks (or your favorite vodka)
  • Pumpkin pie spice for garnish
  • 1 Cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions:

  • Fill a copper mug 3/4 of the way with ice
  • Add ginger brew and vodka to mug and stir
  • Garnish with a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice and a cinnamon stick
  • Enjoy!

Notes:

If you’d like a little stronger drink, equal parts vodka and ginger brew works well. You may need to adjust the amounts based on the size of your mug, but in general a 3:1 or 2:2 ratios works well.
